Kaylene was drawn to Strata by the opportunity to help people with cancer. She oversees a team of product and project managers who work cross-functionally to develop and bring to market Strata’s diagnostic and digital products. Kaylene has experience in genetic counseling, genetic and genomic diagnostic testing and digital health. She was recently recognized as one of Fierce Pharma’s Fiercest Women in Life Sciences.
Prior to joining Strata, Kaylene worked at GeneMatters (now part of Genome Medical) and Counsyl (now part of Myriad Genetics). She also has clinical experience as a genetic counselor at MD Anderson Cancer Center and completed her masters in genetic counseling at the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
Outside of Strata, Kaylene enjoys cooking “experimental” Sunday dinners, spending time with her family and friends and enjoying live music.
